yesterday (about this time) I placed an order for a pack of 10 mixed treats - and dad just got them!  Not only am I extremely jealous that I can't eat them, but I am very impressed witht he prompt service.  A gold star and a huge thank you from me! (A daughter who can't organize her fathers birthday gift in advance, so panics 24hrs out J)

Just to say there's one happy dad, Grandad and Great Grandad Syd up in Fielding who received your assortment box this morning. he was really thrilled. he can't figure out how something so fragile can get all the way up there in perfecrt condition. He loved the cupcakes - wonder if there will be Santa ones at xmas :o)

I'd like to say a big Thank You for your excellent informative service, and beautiful product.  As the previous owner of The Great New Zealand Christmas Cake Co Ltd, I am only too familiar with the importance of the perishable product arriving on time and looking perfect.  Yours certainly meets all the criteria, and i know from experience, tastes marvellous.  So congratulations on a product well researched, well marketed and living up to all of its claims.   You have just cause to be very proud of your achievements!

I was completely overcome when I opened the very unexpected polystyrene box

that arrived at our door early yesterday morning. It was so intriguing --- a

solid little block, taped round the middle and stamped “Pleasant Point World

Famous Denheath Custard Squares”. Who would expect anything like that? The

label said “must be delivered Fri 8th May PLEASE!!!!” Then I tore off the

tape, opened the box and inside the thick polystyrene was another, red box,

and inside the red box were these magnificent, deep custard squares

separated from each other with fitted thick plastic sheets. After I’d gaped

at those, John found, tucked behind the red box, the letter which had

information about the custard squares and the other lovely squares, and the

note from you. As I said I was completely overcome --- surprise and deep

appreciation for the fact that you’d found such a special gift, and sent it

on a special day with your love. I certainly don’t deserve that, but it was

just lovely to receive it, and just as lovely to eat them and they are

delicious!  Actually, custard squares are a favourite of John’s, and I

occasionally make them, but don’t buy them, being doubtful about how long,

in the shops, they’ve been out of the frig  --- not good for eggy custard.

These were packed with a package of ice cubes between the polystyrene box

and the red box, and the ice still hadn’t melted last night, when we

greedily ate our second ones -- the makers have done a superb job and the

custard filling was extremely good.

Thank you very much, but it was very naughty of you!"

Being brought up in Pleasant Point Denheath House Custard Squares have always been eaten in my house. Now that i have moved away from home to Wellington i am unable to just walk to the shop to get some. Every time i go home i always seem to bring a box back on the plane and give them out to all the people i have told about the best ever custard squares. I have not found anyone yet who hasn't liked them. It's starting to get to be a big order every time i go home but i will keep doing it because i love and miss them so much otherwise. "The "Treat Size Assorted Sampler Pack of 12" arrived at my doorstep this morning (thank you for taking into consideration the delivery date change).

What a fabulous surprise when opening the box, not only is the packaging perfect for keeping the products fresh and in excellent condition, the array of colours and textures to meet the eye was spectacular! Even though I knew what I was ordering, opening the box was still an exciting experience. What a wonderful selection of desserts to choose from!

My sister and I enjoyed a few of the treats during our lunch today and I packed some away for her to take home and enjoy. We felt very indulged! My husband also enjoyed a couple this evening! You have some new fans now!

I have ordered once before from Denheath in the past and got hooked on the famous custard squares. Now that you have a wider selection of products, and especially treat size packs, you'll definitely be getting more orders, and I'll be spreading the word!
